Welcome to our Blog! Be the Change was born in July 2010 when Sam and LeeAnn bought tickets to join the Howlett Family and Friends of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (FOVC) on a mission trip to Shanto, Ethiopia. Within a couple of weeks these sisters, added their dad, Ron and LeeAnn's husband, Kevin to the trip roster. Next two of Sam's friends, Amanda and Aaron purchased tickets to Ethiopia. Now there are 30 committed travelers from all over the USA leaving on a jet plane December 28, 2010 with a clear vision to help FOVC build an orphanage and a whole lot more.
